The temperature resistance of PP packaging is up to +110°C.
PP packaging is marked "PP" or recycling code with the number 5, identifying polypropylene as the material of manufacture.
The PP container can have a connected lid, but it can also be without a lid, in which case machine packaging is used for welding the top film.
Due to their high temperature resistance, PP containers are mostly used for packaging hot/hot ready meals. If the contents of the container are liquid, with a PP container with a lid that is attached to the container, due to the watertight closure, the contents will not spill or leak, and this type of packaging is suitable for transporting and distributing meals in the field.
PP containers are mostly used by catering services, fast food establishments, restaurants, etc.
PP MAP containers are used for packing meat and ready-made meals and, with the use of a modified atmosphere, they enable extended freshness and shelf life of food. Unlike multi-layered materials, PP is single-layered and can be recycled. In order to avoid contamination of packaged foods, as well as to preserve their freshness and visual appearance, choosing the appropriate material and packaging is a critical decision point.
The MAP containers for meat that we produce preserve the integrity of the packaged product in the temperature range -10ºC to +110ºC.
They are available in numerous dimensions and options in which way the packaging, in addition to preserving the freshness and longevity of the packaged meat, matches the visual identity of your brand.
